Automotive Transponder Keys
Loosing your car keys can often be scary. Depending on the make and model of the vehicle, replacing lost car keys at a dealership can cost you several hundreds of dollars. Modern vehicles usually need a transponder chip in the head of the key programmed and also programmed to the vehicle’s immobilizer system before the newly cut key will start the car. This requires a lot of specialised equipment to produce working keys. In most cases Assured Locksmiths and Security Solutions can replace your lost keys for less than your dealership but this of course is depending on the make and model of your car.
We offer two different types of aftermarket Transponder keys for your car:
- a flip transponder key with remotes and
- a non flip transponder key without remotes . This key will require you to unlock and lock your car by using the key in the door lock.
We can also cut and program genuine keys to a wide range of vehicles including some proximity keys to suit push start models.
